The Search for Yields continues...

Interestingly enough, with the most recent 0.25% Fed rate hike, the "major" U.S. banks such as Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Citi, PNC, and U.S. Bancorp naturally raised their prime rate by this amount.  What's interesting however, is that none of these banks increased the interest rate that they pay on deposits!  Basically, this hike affords them the luxury to increase rates on loans, but subsequently they all fail to reciprocate the courtesy to savers...and the search continues.
