The Top 10         

A Yale University study has offered a “top 10” list (ala David Letterman) of How Successful People Handle Stress – review, enjoy, and see where you agree…or perhaps can implement some new strategies?

  1. They learn to say NO!

  2. They appreciate what they have.

  3. They don’t ask “what if.”

  4. They disconnect – from phone, emails, etc. They take breaks.

  5. They sleep.

  6. They exercise.

  7. They don’t hold grudges.

  8. They don’t “die in the fight,” (choose battles wisely)

  9. They practice mindfulness – meditation

  10. They eliminate negative self-talk.
